I got the Boot!

Yes I got the boot! I was thinking that I was a ballerina from the nutcracker and Maddison her friends and I were bustn' out our sweet moves when I went to do a turn and heard a pop. After that my foot hurt for a while but I thought it would go away. Well after two weeks of pain I decided to go into the doctor. Thinking it was nothing we did an x-ray and low and behold I had broke the top of my foot. But it had started to heal so I was given the BOOT! I was excited because a cast did not sound fun at all. Although the boot is better it still is hard to walk on ice and in the snow!! Incase you are wondering....I have learned my lesson and becoming a profession ballerina when I grow up is now out of the question!!

Fire Station Phobia

Today Maddison's Preschool went on a field trip to the fire station and we were told of it last Thursday and for days every time the field trip was mentioned she would cry and say she did not want to go. We finally found out why she did not want to go and that was because she thought she had to go into the station that was on fire and it scared her to death. So last night we drove passed the fire station and showed her that it was not on fire and that it was where they parked the firetrucks. After she saw it she was ready for the field trip she had a blast. They talked to the kids about what the firemen wear, what they sound like with their masks on, that you should have a meeting place if there is an emergency and what the inside of a fire truck looks like.

Project Teddy Bear

Hey I am collecting stuffed animals For the Famuly Support & Treatment Center in Orem and Midvale. If any of you have any stuffed animals you would like to get rid of please let me know I will be taking them down this Saturday. Anything will help please donate!

What it is.......

Both centers have the mission of preventing and treating child abuse through education, therapy and outreach. Crisis nurseries are available for children who have been abused, are in danger of being abused or are awaiting placement in a foster home. A soft teddy bear to hug during these times of trauma or loneliness is a great comfort to the children. At-risk children also undergo therapy sessions at the centers throughout the year. A teddy bear gives them something to hold during sessions, provides much-needed comfort and helps in the healing process. It may also be the onlyChristmas present a child receives.

Last year, Bank of American Fork collected more than 6,000 stuffed animals. Sadly, that was not enough to provide a stuffed animal to each child that walked through the centers’ doors. Each center sees an average of 50 children each day.

Disney On Ice

Maddison and I had a date night and we went to Disney on Ice. Maddison was so excited to see the princesses and had to wear her princess dress. Here we are riding the train down and Maddison had a blast!

Happy Halloweenie

This year Halloween was a blast Jax LOVED going out and saying "trick or treat" and then "thank you" after getting some candy. He would then skip off to every house and he tried to hard to keep up with the big girls. Once he knew he was getting candy he had no problem leaving his monkey hat on!! Maddison loved being a princess witch and she had a blast running around with her friend "belle" and getting all the candy!! It was so much fun to take my kids around this year.

My baby sister got married on September 18th and we are so excited for her!! The wedding turned out great after the storm blew through!! It was alot of fun. Here our some pictures of the big day.

Pumpkins

We painted and carved some pumpkins the other day for family home evening. The kids had a blast Jax enjoyed painting himself instead of the pumpkin and Mad loved painting her whole entire pumpkin. Thanks to Grandpa Rich for growing pumpkins for us this year. The kids had a blast!

Hee Haws

Last weekend we went down to utah county and hung out with the fam. Grandpa got Jax a basketball hoop and that is all that Jaxs wanted to do is play basketball. Grandpa is now all that Jax talks about and how he wants to play basketball with him. We also went to Hee Haws and rode the horses and Jax participated in the pig chase and we rode on a hay ride and checked out the pumpkins it was a blast thanks Grandma!!

So today was one hail of a day. Not only did it snow on the bench right above our house, but we got an awesome hail storm. Check out our lawn and swingset!

Peach Days

It was peach days up here in Brigham City it is quite the big party. Maddison was in the Parade on the little cheer truck and these are her cheer buddies!!

CHEER!!!

Maddison participated in the mini cheer camp that the Box Elder High school cheerleaders put on each year. It is so fun for the girls they get a shirt and they get to dance at halftime during the football game and they get to be in the parade!!

Maddison got a new look!! After much thought I decided to get her a haircut. It is so cute and she thinks she is hot stuff with her new do! She dose not like the fact that we have to curl it every day but we are getting faster.

Deer Valley

Dave and I have this tradition that we go to the deer valley music festival it has been so fun to go to for the last five years we have enjoyed it. Although this time it poured on us but the show must go on so we bought some ponchos and listened to the wonderful symphony play. It was so relaxing and the atmosphere even though it was raining was peaceful. The conductor, Jerry Steichen, was my favorite. He was so animated and highly entertaining. The concert was the Rhapsody in Blue performance.
