I have fun friends, who also have fun friends. When I saw this post on Heidi's blog- I thought it would be fun to do! Now... just know that if you are the lucky recipient of what I will "craft" for you, it may not be anything spectacular. I am really not a crafter, despite my best efforts.

5K and a lot of snow

Today I ran my first 5k for child abuse and boy was it an adventure!! As you can see from the pictures the weather did not cooperate. I was hoping all the way to Wellsville that they would cancel but as we arrived of course they did not. It was a little chilly starting out but as I got going it was not so bad. It was a great run and thanks to the lady in the red she was my running buddy and did not even know it. I thought to myself if I can just keep up with that lady I will do great. I reached the last mile and was drenched and everything got really heavy so it slowed me down a bit but I reached the finish line in 39 min and 20 seconds!! WAHOOOO it was so much fun!!

flip flop fun

I am teaching the YW to make these flip flops next week and I wanted to try them out to see if they would be cute or not and they turned out great!! It is so easy and fun you just get water balloons and tie them in a knot all around the flop and wala fun and festive. I hope the YW girls like them. I know Maddison loves them and never takes them off!! Also she is finally getting some hair so we did a fun do today!!

Scooter Rides

We have coaster cars at our house but Maddison calls them scooter cars. They are so much fun. This April conference we were blessed to have all of our family over and while the men were at the Priesthood session the girls let thier hair down and went wild and crazy having scooter races down in the basement!! It was a blast thanks every one for being good sports!!

Happy Birthday JAX

We celebrated Jax's Brithday today. As you can see he figured that it was his party he can cry if he wants too. He did not like the cake at all he screameed and would not touch it. But he loves his gifts and being the center of attention. Thanks everyone for coming we had a great time!

THE SWING SET

This is the the swing set that Maddison and Jaxton got for their birthdays from Grandpa Rory and Grandma Kerry. This is a very special swing set and it comes with it a great story. My parents search high and low for this swing set and finally found it in Perumoh Nevada which is 90 south of vegas. They traveled all the way down there it get it and when the got there the boxes would not fit in the car so they took all the pieces out and traveled back to utah with a swing set in pieces. They came up here last saturday to set it up which took 6 hours to put up!! My dad even silkscreened our name and date on both sides. Thanks dad that is great! We were so excited and Maddison was ready to swing. But due to freezing weather and snow she could only play on it for a few minutes. Then the winds blew and blew our swingset into to the nieghbors backyard. Good thing our name was on it now if it ever blows away agian they nieghbors will know who toi call!! So at 4:30 a.m. I woke up Dave and we ran outside to take the swing set apart and put it in our garage. I was bawling because I thought it was broken but nope surprisingly it was ok!! Then it has been terrible weather until a few days ago when we finally got it back up and running!! Jax got his very own swing for his birthday and loves his new swingset. Thanks mom and dad it the best!
