Third Times The Charm

This is our little Jaxton he is growing so fast and yes he does have casts on his little legs. It is to help correct his feet! We have had to get these on three times and hopefully third time is the charm. He has kicked off the little blue ones so we had to go to the ugly plaster. The doctor said that if he kicks these off then we have to cast the whole leg so hopefull he will not kick these off. I don't know how I would handle that. It has been quite the experience already it is hard to change his diaper and hold him and if you don't get out of his way fast enough you will be wacked by the casts. I have been hit a few times and it leaves quite the mark. He has been a trooper and I think we likes them he lifts up his legs and then lets them fall and it makes a loud noise and he starts laughing. We call him bam bam!! When we go out in public I do look like the abusive mom. People ask me what I did to his legs and I have to explain that it is to help correct his feet and they give me that look like sure they are.

IF WE HAD MORE HAIR

Well we were bored so we decided to try the miracle grow on our heads today and kaboom we instantly got long lushes locks!!

This was our weekend activity we decided to ride the Frontrunner down to SLC. It was alot of fun Maddison loved riding on the train and wanted to see every part of the train. She wanted to go upstairs and then back down and looked out the windows and held on to the bar. She was really excited!! It was great and the time went by really fast. Jax even loved the train but we discovered that he gets car sick or train sick.We rode it all the way down to the Gateway where we met up with Grandma and Pa and played in the water.
We also went to the Farmers Market and that was a blast to see all the fruit and vegis and to people watch.

The Binky Fairy

Well we finally did it a few days ago the binky fairy decided to come to our house and take the binky away!! Maddison was so excited to send her binky off in the mail she wrote the address on it and then we walked to the mail box. Then the Fairy came and took it away and replaced it with a present!! This was all fun and games until it hit bed time and all hell broke loose. Sorry for the language but it was a disaster. I have never seen my child act that way before she was out of control. I wanted to give in so bad and say jsut kidding here is another binky but Dave was my strength and said that is will be good for her. It has been three days now and it is getting better not to much drama but Maddisons outlook on bed time has now changed. She does not want to take naps.... she wakes up way to early 6:00 a.m. and she lays in her bed and yells things every five minutes. I hope that it will get better it is the hardest thing I have had to do thus far!!

Maddison addressed and stamped the package to the Binky Fairy and was ready to head to the mail box.

The OUTFIT

Today Maddison picked out her own outfit and I thought it was so funny I had to share. Notice the great purple socks she insisted that we pulled them all the up. When I asked her why she said that her toes were cold. I little strange for cold toes in the middle of the summer???? HS emust be like her mom!!

ESCALANTE

Maddison picked up a few rocks when se stopped. She was loving it.

Every year we head down to Escalante to visit with family this year we went to the annual parade that goes down main and comes back up. We had a great time the weather was perfect and it was fun to be with the family. We went out about an hour south and shot rabbits and tried to find slot canyons. When we arrived to what we thought was the canyons we found a beautiful over look and a 12 mile hike to the canyons!! needless to say we enjoyed the view and will try the hike next year!!
