5 Years old!!!

Yep it is official not only was I welcomed into the thirty club this month (still 23 and holding) but I now have a five year old. I can't believe how fast time goes Maddison turned 5 on Tuesday and she has had quite the extended birthday celebration. She had a party on Saturday at grandma T's, then she had one on Sunday and then her birthday was Tuesday and then a party today. I think by the end of this week she will be all partied out! I just seems like yesterday she was just a tiny tatter tot and now she is so big. Turning five means .....Now it is time to start school....(don't know if I am ready for that).....I just want to freeze time and keep you little forever!!

The Dentist

Jax had is first dentist appointment and he did great. Yes he was VERY nervous but it helped that his sister made it look so fun.

Here is Maddison she is a good sport and making it look fun so Jax would not be so nervous. The whole morning she is giving him the pep talk on how fun the moose dentist is and that he would love it.

The SHOTS

A little sore and very tired but still one tuff cookie!!

Well yesterday was the big day that Maddison has been dreading or maybe I have been dreading... we went to get her kindergarten shots yesterday and instead of going to the doctors office I went to the health department because I did not want Maddison to ask me every time we went to the doctor if she was going to get a shot. So we gathered a few friends and decided that if she went with some friends then she would not be so scared. Man and it worked she was so brave until she found out that she was the only one that was going to get them that day. Her friends were going to get theirs another day due to complications so into the tiny room we went and she sat on my lap and then looked over and the lovely nurse had left all the shots sitting there on the counter and that is when maddison FREAKED out. She started crying then as the nurse came closer with the shot she started to scream and as the shot went in she lost it. Then we had to do that FOUR times and each time she would say "I don't want that... no more shots.... and lots of screaming and kicking. Well needless to say I think Jax is traumatized and he does not want any shots for the rest of his life and I hope we did not scare off Maddisons little friend who stayed to give her moral support (Thank you for staying)!!! But over all it is OVER thank goodness and she is alive to tell about it!! (Which I am sure we will hear about it and everyone else!!)

Jax and his socks

Jax has a HUGE fetish with feet...yes a little weird i know... He also loves socks. He will put any socks he finds on his feet and he will steal socks right off your feet when you are not paying attention. Brynlee is his victim because she cant fight back yet but he always steals her sock and pulls them off her feet every chance he gets. Here are a few pics of him and his socks.

Blessing Day

We finally blessed Brynlee and it was good we did it when we did. We blessed her in the same dress that Maddison was blessed in but a month later and I was a little nervous because man Brynlee is growing fast. At first we were taking bets to see if the dress would even fit and I was to scared to try it on her so I waited until Sunday to try it on. Well.... It fit it was really snug but hey she only had to wear it for and hour. It was great to have the whole family around and Lacey and Tyler were in town so we were glad to have the whole crew. Thanks everyone for all your help and coming up it was so fun!

Three Months

Our little Brynlee who is not so little... turns three months today. It is hard to believe that it is three months already, boy time flies when you are having fun. She is so fun..... she does have a great set of lungs on her and she constantly reminds us all day long that she does. We went to the doctor the other day and this little chubby weighs 14lbs and is 24 inches long. She is in the 95% for her age. Yes 14 lbs. We do feed her chocolate milk on a daily basis because that is my stress food! She reminds me a lot of Maddison. She is a great eater as you can see, she cries a lot, she has acid reflux, she is beginning to hold her head up more and more each day, she LOVES to sleep on her tummy and lately has been sleeping 10 hours each night. Now that I wrote that it will stop because that is my luck! My Favorite is when she smiles it is an ear to ear grin and she just warms my heart! I am so glad that she is so healthy and part of our family we just love her so much!!

Sledding

For Daves 31st birthday this year we went sledding. It was a week bit chilly with a high of only ten degrees but cold is only relative when you have a great sledding hill only two minutes from your house!! It was a blast as you can see from the pictures we had a wonderful time.
