MAXT

Soooo I just found out on tuesday that we have a new dog at our house his name is Maxt. We were on our way to Shopko to just get out of the house and Maddison was talkng to a dog named Maxt and she told him to get into the car that she did not want to leave him so he had to hurry. Well I am looking around thinking a stray dog had ran into the garage but NOPE this is Maddison imaginary friend/dog named Maxt. Now we get to shopko and she told maxt to stay in the car and when we came out of the store she said that she could not see Maxt in the car so she started yelling at teh top of her lungs for Maxt. Maxt where are you? Maxt we are leaving hurry. MAXT!@ So we get in the car and I guess he had made it in to the car and we got home and she asked if Maxt could come into the house and it was cold so I said sure. She replied "ooh maxt mom said you can come in, come in maxt" and then she started patting her legs like she was calling the dog of course. I shut the door and she told me that I just shut him in the door and that I needed to hurry and open it so I did and she said "oh good come on Maxt". It took a while and then she finally said ok maxt is in. Then nothing was said of Maxt again until we got in the car yesterday and today. She talks about Maxt and how he is sitting on her lap and she show him to Jax. It is cute but should I be concerned? I don't know but for now we will just enjoy our imaginary dog Maxt!@! Yes with a T

At least her imaginery dog has a semi normal name. Colby had Goatso who came with us everywhere for awhile and then Kenzie had Scapi who actually had an entire family that stayed with us for months. I think the names may have come from watching Dora too much but I am not sure. Your kids are so cute. Loved your Christmas card.

That is so cute!! I love their little imaginary friends and your post helped me to know that Blake is normal with his Mr.Nobody in the mirror!! He also blames everything on him saying "Mr. Nobody did it!" Crazy Kids!! :)

That is adorable.

Tegunn had an imaginary friend. I heard its normal and it means they have a very vivid imagination and its very healthy.

So cute

That is adorable! Preston talks to someone when we put him to bed at night. He carries on conversations. I wasn't sure if I needed to worry either!

Nothing to worry about, just cute.

Maxt! I love the name!! That girl of yours is not only adorable but has the funnest personality. We've never had imaginary friends at our house- we all just talk to ourselves- which I would think isn't normal. (yes it is) No it's not! (okay that was my lame attempt at talking to myself via txt) Ü

bahhhaaa! That is great. Maybe we can get Maxt and Polar bear, furry dork, psycho kitty (don't know which name we have decided on for sure) together sometime? That would be fun..... That maddision is adorable.

I think it is great that she has such a good imagation. I don't think you should worry at all. I love the part about how you shut the dog in the door.

Haha! I love the name she chose, how funny. An imaginary animal is great, the best kind of pet to have, I think! I wonder how long it will be until she's scolding him for peeing on the carpet.

This story had me laughing out loud! Don't worry, I've read that it's totally normal for kids to have imaginary friends/pets. Besides, it's really entertaining for the rest of us!
