Brynlee Roe is here she weighed 7lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long. She is such a doll. It was a quick labor we went in Sunday around 7:00 to be checked thinking they would just send us home but they decided to get the party started and had her at 12:38 A.M. She had trouble breathing at first so they kept her in the special nursery for a few hours until she was stable and then we got to love on her for the rest of the day. My family came to the hospital Monday night to see her and that is when the crazyness started. They were about to leave and we noticed that Brynlee was not looking very well she was turning purple. So the nurse came in we asked her about it and that is when she whisked her away and that was the last time I got to hold my little baby. Since then she has been in the NICU in one of those little plastic boxes that keeps them all snuggly and warm. We found out that she has Pneumothorax which is when air leaks from the lungs and is trapped between the lungs and the chest wall. She is still not doing very well and we are unsure when she will get to come home. This is one of the hardest things that I have ever had to go through. All those mom's who have had to have baby's in the NICU my heart goes out to you. To see your baby in pain and suffering and not able to pick her up give her hugs and kisses and tell her it is going to be ok is the worst thing. She is a fighter and I know that we will get through this but I also know that the road ahead is a long one.

I am so sorry you have to go through that Chantell! It is one of the hardest things that I EVER have had to do. You can't really comprehend how hard it is until you experience it for yourself so I know exactly how you are feeling. Your family and she is in our thoughts and prayers and if there is ANYTHING that we can do please let us know! She is sure a cutie! But I knew she would be!

She is beautiful you guys! Girl's are fighters and if she has any of Chan's spunk she will be on the up hill in no time. I am so sorry you have to expierience the pain of having your baby in the NICU... it is not anything I ever wished to see anyone go through again. I know the ache of wanting to hold your baby and not be able too. It's not easy Chan, and I have been heart broken knowing that you are feeling some of the same emotions I had to feel. It gave me major flashbacks into my own emotions. I just know that you will get her home in no time! Then you can snuggle and kiss on her constantly. Just know that we are thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers...
Chantell, I'm so sorry. Nothing anyones says makes it better. Its so hard. I've been there twice. Chloe was life-flighted from brigham to Ogden. My first baby they tore from me and I spent the first 24 hours 30 minutes away from her. :( she was super sick and both her lungs collapsed, but thankfully she was a girl . The girls fight harder, the boys take their dear sweet time. It was a miracle Chloe was only in the NICU seven days! Noah he was another story...I thought for sure we were going to take him straight to high school from the NICU and he was even dubbed the senior citizen of the NICU. Finally nine weeks later he decided he was done flirting with the nurses!! I'm sorry sister I've so been there and its soooo hard your torn between your sick baby and your family at home, plus you're still trying to recover yourself. I would be so happy to watch your kids so you can go sit with the baby. 435-740-4050, I'd like to bring in dinner also, just let me know!! I love you! Looking back these rough times Ty and I had strengthened our marriage and we've never been closer than when our Babies were sick. We'll be praying for her and your sweet family. It doesn't EVER feel like it but remember this too shall pass, and your love as a mother and gratitude to be a mother will grown a hundred fold. I love you!

I love you guys so much and it tears me apart to know you can't have her in your arms right now. But your little Brynley has strengthened me so much this week...and I will always love her for it.
