The annual Griffin Family reunion to Escalante was a few weeks ago and the kids had a blast running around playing with their cousins. A few fun things we do in escalante are..............
There is a Parade that goes down and back
The cannons start to go off around 5:30 a.m. and scare the scrudolies out of us {this year it even set off a car alarm!}
The Griffin Family has to reserve hotel rooms in January to make sure we all have rooms in July!
We love the boulder mountains and hopefully one day I will be able to drive over hells backbone
We love playing in the water at Calf Creek
We love being with family and just hanging out!
Oh and the kids loved the tire swing at the house!

Maddison could not handle the gun shots that they do down the parade route she had to cover her ears the first time they came around and when they were coming back she decided to head back to the house so she did not have to hear them!

I went blog hunting today and found yours. :) What a fun trip for you guys. We went to Escalante for the first time last year for a family reunion. It was such a crazy fun trip. We played in Calf Creek and had a hard time getting the boys to leave. I had never been there and was surprised at how beautiful it was. We even drove to Hole in the Rock.
