This might be cheesy, but what do you expect from a nerdy engineer husband.  I just want to tell you and the whole world how much the kids and I love you.  Thanks for all you do for us.  You are such a great mom, wife, and friend!  I know these past 2 weeks have not been pretty good and I think that you have come out with flying colors!

Off to the races

I was motivated by Brittneys blog to try to get Jax walking and we had great success!! He loves crusing all over the place. With his trusty side kick of course.

HAPPY TO ME!

I had a wonderful birthday and thank you to everyone for making it great!! I loved going out to dinner to the wonderful Cheesecake factory twice!! Good times

My husband was out of town for the big day but he totally made up for it by sending me a card in the mail with a clue and then sending me on a treasure hunt around my house and at the end was a double stroller!! WAHOOOO I am so excited now I am really ready for the warm weather to come so I can get out there and go WALKING!!! I have the best husband ever!! I am so lucky!! Not only did a I get a double stoller but I also got two every sick kids on the birthday as well!! But hey over all it was a great day!!

My first haircut

JAx recieved his first haircut by Atty the hair guru. She did a great job as you can see from his face he was not quite sure about the whole thing but he held really still!!

Hardware Ranch

We went to Hardware ranch last weekend with Dave's cousins and we had a blast. It was full of lessons learned. It started off with Maddison opening the car door as we are going down the canyon at about 70 miles per hour. She just wanted to see what the handle would do if she pulled it!! Well she got quite the scare. I jumped back there and shut the door as Dave tried to swerve off the road. That was our lesson on the child lock should be on at all times. Then we made to Hardware ranch and looked at the elk! It was great there were a ton there. Our tour guide was the best if you can see him in the picture with the hat and glasses. Then we got in the car and Maddison was chewing on something I asked her what it was and she eaid it was a peanut. Now where did she get the peanut from....... yep off the ground in the dirt somewhere. Now if it was a peanut I am not sure all she said was it is crunchy and sticking in her teeth. I just about threw up!! That is when we had our lesson on don't eat anything off the ground. It was great and we had alot of fun with Daves cousins it was good to hangout with them!! It was full of lessons learned!

MAXT

Soooo I just found out on tuesday that we have a new dog at our house his name is Maxt. We were on our way to Shopko to just get out of the house and Maddison was talkng to a dog named Maxt and she told him to get into the car that she did not want to leave him so he had to hurry. Well I am looking around thinking a stray dog had ran into the garage but NOPE this is Maddison imaginary friend/dog named Maxt. Now we get to shopko and she told maxt to stay in the car and when we came out of the store she said that she could not see Maxt in the car so she started yelling at teh top of her lungs for Maxt. Maxt where are you? Maxt we are leaving hurry. MAXT!@ So we get in the car and I guess he had made it in to the car and we got home and she asked if Maxt could come into the house and it was cold so I said sure. She replied "ooh maxt mom said you can come in, come in maxt" and then she started patting her legs like she was calling the dog of course. I shut the door and she told me that I just shut him in the door and that I needed to hurry and open it so I did and she said "oh good come on Maxt". It took a while and then she finally said ok maxt is in. Then nothing was said of Maxt again until we got in the car yesterday and today. She talks about Maxt and how he is sitting on her lap and she show him to Jax. It is cute but should I be concerned? I don't know but for now we will just enjoy our imaginary dog Maxt!@! Yes with a T
