The 4th

This 4th of July we celebrated it on Saturday and it was a lot of fun we went swimming and had a BBQ, went miniature golfing and ended it off with a bang watching the fireworks!! It was fun hanging out with the fam!

WE LOVE WORMS

Now that summer is here my kids love to play outside. Their favorite thing to do is to find rolley- pollies and worms. The other day while weeding Dave found a worm and when the kids came by he pretended to sneeze and the worm came out. Well that is all fun and games but Jax now thinks that daddy has worms in his mouth. So every time Dave sneezes which is a lot because of allergies he checks to see if a worm is going to come out. Big Boy Bed

We finally got Jax in a big boy bed and he LOVES it. He sleeps through the night and we don't worry that he is going to fall out like he did when he was in his toddler bed.

What's in Maddison's bed.......

I just have to post this because it is so funny. Every night before Dave and I go to bed we play the game what is in Maddison's bed. We have a good time seeing the things Maddison has shoved under the covers. We have found very unusual things in her bed. Keep in mind this all happens after we put her in bed. Her bed is clean and clear when we tuck her in and in a matter of an hour she has accumulated under her covers......huge baskets, crayons, dolls in backpacks, Barbie, books, shoes, princess dresses. Those are just a few things we have found under her covers not to mention the get up that she dresses herself up in. WE have found her wearing a beanie, socks on her hands, a sweatband, and a headband worn as a sweatband. Needless to say checking on Maddison before we go to bed is a game we look forward to every night and it is great the things we find and the get up she is wearing.

End of Preschool Program

Maddison had her end of the year preschool program and it was so cute. They sang a lot of cute songs like sticky sticky bubble gum, I love you, and a farm song. I got to see who Maddison's crush was and he has the band aid on his chin. She talks about him a lot saying that he is her prince.
They asked the kids questions about what they had learned that year and video taped their answers it was so funny to see what they had to say. They handed out awards and Maddison and her friend Bailee got the best dancer award. Mrs. Karen and Mrs. Heather did a wonderful job this year. Maddison has learned so much! Thank you everyone for coming all the way up and supporting Maddison.

Mothers Day

We had a wonderful mothers day it was a blast to hang out with our families and to be spoiled for a day!

4+1=5

It is true the news is out and spread about we are having another baby and we are so excited. We found out that we are having a girl and we are due in November which is a long ways away but that is ok with us! This has been a great adventure and I have loved every minute of it because my sister and I are both having a baby a month a part. I am so excited!! Maddison is so excited because she tells me "I have never had a sister" and Jax looks at me and says "sister?" We are so happy!
