Thanksgiving

Dave's Sister was in town and came up to visit us and the kids had a blast playing with their cousin!! We also had an early Christmas and opened a few gifts from Grandma T. We have the instruments now just need to sign up for lessons!!

Jaxton was so excited to have Uncle Tyler teach him how to rope a cow he was talking about it all day. He was so thrilled when ty showed him how it was done then they gave it a try and roped him!!

Now that Brynlee is home we have had so much fun dressing her up taking lots of pictures and just loving on her!!

She is finally home!!!

Thank you for all your prayers that were offered in our behalf we have felt such a great peace as we have gone through this experience and can't tell you how much we appreciate it. Brynlee is a huge fighter it seemed that she changed from worse to better so fast. It was last Thursday that she still had the tube in for her pneumo and the x-ray showed a little air but not much but still there was air then friday she changed dramatically the doctor was shocked at how fast she was healing and getting better. It was Friday afternoon that they took the tube out and then Saturday morning they removed the oxygen and the IV's came out. He was amazed. She is now home with us and we are so excited

Brynlee Roe is here she weighed 7lbs 7 oz and 21 inches long. She is such a doll. It was a quick labor we went in Sunday around 7:00 to be checked thinking they would just send us home but they decided to get the party started and had her at 12:38 A.M. She had trouble breathing at first so they kept her in the special nursery for a few hours until she was stable and then we got to love on her for the rest of the day. My family came to the hospital Monday night to see her and that is when the crazyness started. They were about to leave and we noticed that Brynlee was not looking very well she was turning purple. So the nurse came in we asked her about it and that is when she whisked her away and that was the last time I got to hold my little baby. Since then she has been in the NICU in one of those little plastic boxes that keeps them all snuggly and warm. We found out that she has Pneumothorax which is when air leaks from the lungs and is trapped between the lungs and the chest wall. She is still not doing very well and we are unsure when she will get to come home. This is one of the hardest things that I have ever had to go through. All those mom's who have had to have baby's in the NICU my heart goes out to you. To see your baby in pain and suffering and not able to pick her up give her hugs and kisses and tell her it is going to be ok is the worst thing. She is a fighter and I know that we will get through this but I also know that the road ahead is a long one.

These little kiddos are now in the same room together and they have a hard time sleeping as you can see they are catching up on their beauty rest.

pumpkins

We went to the "Pumpkin Guys" house. Dave carpools with a guy that has a huge garden and he grew a ton of pumpkins and said we could come over to get some and our kids call him the "Pumpkin Guy" now. They had a blast looking through his garden to find a pumpkin.

Jax just wanted a little pumpkin so we found a small squash and let him take it home
