Colorado and Sledding

This is the Ranch house that we stayed at it was beautiful!! The stars at night were amazing and there was no one around for miles! Here are a few pictures of us sledding!!

The Cabin

As mentioned below we went to Blanding and Colorado for Chirstmas and here are a few pics. The kids loved hanging out with Aunt Lacey, Uncle Tyler, Grandma and Pa and their cousins. They rode horses and four wheelers and pulled by the rino on a sled. Jax kept saying "this is the best day ever" with a HUGE grin on his face! Also climbed on some huge rocks and looked where Uncle Tyler runs his cows. They also stacked pillows and jumped of the stairs!! It was a blast thanks Aunt Lacey and Uncle Tyler until next Christmas 2013!!

Bowling

Every Christmas Eve we have this tradition to go bowling we get up bring our quarters and game on. It gets competitive and in the end there is only one winner! Well this year Jessica (AKA closet bowler)came out and spanked us all. She told us that my brother gave her the "TALK" all morning how she had to bring her "A" game and she did she beat everyone. I want to say it was 140 or something close like that! Also my dad made his own bowling shirt for the festivities and we were all jealous.

Christmas vaca!

Well this year for Christmas we had a jammed packed holiday. We went down on Friday the 23rd and spend Christmas in Utah County and then on Monday we cruised down to Colorado and Blanding and came home on the 31st! It was a fun trip and we had a blast!! Santa did find us and did take Elwin back to the north pole. The kids will miss getting up and finding him each morning! Here are oodles of pictures of our trip.

The Snowman Catcher

Well if you have been over to our house lately you will see this skittle can on our front porch with rocks and water in it. Well this is not just a conversation piece this is Jaxton's snowman catcher. We read Snowman At Christmas and in this book the snowmen come alive at night and Jaxton made out of a skittles can a snowman catcher. He checks it every day to see if there is a snowman in it but not until today has he caught one. Our home teacher came over and we told him about it so when they left he had his son come and build a little snowman in front of the can. Well Jax went out there to check on it and found a snowman!!! He was so excited and now instead of checking it to see if there is a snowman in there he checks to see if the snowman is still there. It really made his day!!

Reflections

Maddison entered a photo that she took when we were up in the mountains taking family pictures. The theme was Diversity means...... Try explaining this to a five year old. For her picture she took some leaves that were different colors and took a picture of them. We turned it in and did not think anything about and then the awards assembly came and we went and found out that she had taken second place. WAhooooo! She got a little trophy with her name on it and she has slept with it ever since. She was so excited to win.
