Clean Bill of Health!!

I am very excited to say that DAVE is officially CANCER FREE!!! We went to visit with the oncologist yesterday and he said that Dave is looking good (which Of course he is I married him!!) and that the other biopsy's came back negative. So for now we can take a big sigh of relief and enjoy life! Thank you everyone for all your thoughts and prayers they are the only thing that helped us through this experience! We felt such peace. Thank you we love you all!

April Fools

It was quite the day yesterday Maddison went to over to her friends house to play and the mom texted me and said "Maddison just came out of the bathroom and told me she had no underwear on." I thought they were joking so I just let it go but when I went to pick her up YEP no panties! Then we went out to the car and Jax locked himself in the car when it was running he was laughing thought he was so funny. I kept yelling unlocked the door and he kept shaking his head telling me no. Finally he unlocked the door and i told him how scared i was and he just laughed at me. Then we went to the makeup store and Jax was playing in the makeup and threw $60 dollar makeup in the air and spilled it all over. It was just a really interesting day! Then we colored easter eggs that was fun here are some pictures!

REMODELING.....?

Well our luck this year has been awesome I am just waiting now to win the lotto and then we will be set for life. The other day we had a wonderful wind storm we were thinking that the winds got up to about 60 mph or higher. It seemed like it was a dang tornado but it wasn't. It was about midnight and we heard a loud BANG and I jumped up and ran to the window to see that it was along with our neighbors. I was thinking it was our swing set that just crashed into the neighbors house but it wasn't it was even better the wind was ripping off our siding on the side of the house. It kept us up all night and me the crazy panickier that i am, was thinking that our whole house was going to fall apart and the siding was going to crash into the window and break the window and suck us all out side. I know a little drastic but it was late at night and I was not firing on all Cylinders. So we listened to the siding bash against the house all night and then in the morning this is what we found.

A change of life in a day!

Caution these photos might make you squeamish. In a matter of a week the comfort of our life flipped and flopped. Dave went into the doctor because his shoulder was causing him grief after a few basketball games and so he decided to get it checked out and while he was at the doctor he got a physical and the doctor noticed a mole that he thought they should check so they took a punch biopsy and a week later it came back that it was cancer.o the doctor called me and told me Dave has cancer and we need to get him into a surgeon and get it removed. So the surgeon called me and they got in him the next day. Well in the mean time I am thinking that it is not a big deal that they will remove it in the office and he will be good for go. My thoughts changed when Dave walked into the door with a terrible look on his face and told me it was serious and that he will be going in for surgery on Tuesday. Then I started to panic and tried the best I could to hold it together but to think that your husband could die is a terrible thing!

So on Tuesday Dave went in to the hospital they injected the site with dye to watch where it went and it traveled to the lumph nodes. They took him in for surgery at 11:10 and he did not come back until 3:30. It was a long surgery and he has a great battle wound to show off. They took out 5 lymph nodes and all the cancer. The best news is that the lymph nodes came back ok. So for now Dave is doing great and that cancer is gone. But he is at high risk for more cancer so he has to be checked every 6 months to be safe! I am so grateful for him and that he was so strong through the whole thing. I am grateful I get to have him around for a long time!

How I love you soo much. I still don't think it was fair the way you stole my heart that night at the rodeo! Thanks for being such a wonderful, great, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, beautiful, amazing, sweet, kind, loving, fun, (did I already say hot?) wife and best friend. I'm so happy that I get to be your husband. And to make things even better you are also a great mom who truly loves her kids and truly goes the extra mile, even when things are tough.

snow fun!

We love to play in the snow when the snow is here.... These pics were taken awhile back just never got around to posting!! But it was good times!!

How do you sleep?

I love these pictures beacause each one has a great story! Maddison love to dress up before she goes to bed and most of the time it is after we tuck her in for the night. We caught her wearing the best get up with a beenie and red santa socks it was great. Madddison also likes to spy on us when she goes to bed she flips aroung on her bed and tries to see what is going on. The other picture is of her falling asleep in the spy position!
Then when we started putting Jax in a big bed he hated it and did not want to sleep in it so one night we found in out in the family room in the big chair fast asleep with all of his blankets of course! There is one of Jax in his big bed that was the first time he fell asleep in his big bed!! Now he sleeps just fine (knock on wood) until 5:45 a.m he likes to play this game where he get out of bed and asks for a drink. Of course I am a sucker and get him one everytime. Bed time is so much fun!
